We will set-up your in store and online wedding list, keep you updated on all aspects of your list, keep track of all orders, and ensure that your guests are offered a professional service which includes complimentary gift wrapping and the opportunity to include a personal message.

We are also pleased to offer the Gift List Holder:

- A gift card to spend in our store based on 5% of the total spend on your Gift List (Gift list spend must be over £500)

- 10% discount for any homeware purchases you make for a period of 12 months after your event date (excludes certain items and special offers within the store)

- Voucher for one complimentary hot drink each and your choice of one complimentary scone or traybake each (valid for 6 months after you have placed your wedding list in store)

How does your wedding list service work?

The first step is contacting us to make an appointment with one of our wedding list advisors. You can phone us on 02837551261 or register your details here and a member of staff will be in touch. 

During your appointment you will be welcomed by your wedding list advisor and given the opportunity to browse our cookshop, home & interiors, giftware and outdoor departments (it is up to you if you would like to browse on your own initially or if you would like an advisor to take you around the store).

Our advisors will always be on hand to provide advice and guidance on what to put on your list and help you choose the perfect pieces. Once you are ready to create your list, we will take a record of everything you would like to add, and the quantities requested.

For the bride and groom that is the hard work done, we will take the rest from there. We will set up your online wedding gift list and send you an email to view it online once everything is complete. 

When should I make my wedding list?

We would advise you to create your list approximately 10 weeks before the big day. However, we can work with you at any stage of the wedding planning process.

What can I put on my wedding list?

Anything and everything! It is completely up to you :) 

You can choose items from across all our departments including things like towels, bedding, kitchenware, cookware, dinnerware, pieces of furniture, mirrors, lamps, home scents, styling accessories and soft furnishings, BBQs, pizza ovens and lots more! 

You can also put Alexanders gift vouchers on your list which are valid for 1 year from purchase.

If an item is out of stock or I would prefer a different colour, can you order it in for me?

Yes, we should be able to order pieces in for your wedding list if our suppliers have them in stock. Your wedding list advisor will be able to provide more information on this at the time of creating your list.

Can I change/add/remove things from my wedding list once it is created?

How do I know which guests bought gifts from my wedding list?

Each of your gifts will have a card included to let you know who it is from. Your guests will have the opportunity to add a personalised message to this card at the time of purchase.

How do guests buy gifts from the list?

Your guests can purchase gifts a number of ways:

1. Guests can request to see and purchase from your wedding list in store.
2. Guests can purchase gifts online by visiting our wedding list website here. All they need to do is insert either the bride or groom's surname and the wedding date. This will open your wedding list and let guests view and purchase items.

Can guests purchase items that are not on my list?

We will encourage guests to purchase from your list, however if they decide to purchase something else this is at their own discretion.

Who collects my gifts?

Guests can choose to collect items from our store and deliver them to you personally or they can choose for the bride and groom to collect the gifts. We will notify the bride and groom to let you know when gifts are available for collection.
